올해 한국과 독일이 수교를 맺은지 140년이 됐습니다. 기념해서 양국에서 여러가지 행사들이 열리는데요. 6월 29일과 30일, 독일에서는 ‘2023 프랑크푸르트 한류박람회’가 열렸습니다. 무려 10년 만에 유럽에서 한류박람회가 열린 건데요, 유럽인들의 한류에 대한 호감도, 얼마나 뜨거운지… 직접 박람회에 다녀온, 최경헌 통신원과 얘기 나눠볼게요. 안녕하세요?(인사)

This year marks the 140th year of diplomatic ties between S.Korea and Germany. The two countries are holding various events in their nations. On June 29th and 39th, the 2023 Korea Brand and Entertainment Expo, or the Hallyu fair was held in Germany. This was the first Hallyu fair that was held in Europe in 10 years. How passionate are Europeans about Hallyu? We’re going to answer that question with our Frankfurt

The atmosphere at the KOREA BRAND AND ENTERTAINMENT EXPO 2023 was absolutely incredible, with a multitude of Korean culture enthusiasts eager to immerse themselves in the world of Kpop music, Korean cuisine, and captivating traditions.

During my time at the event, I had the opportunity to capture some photographs.

✅ (01:17) One of these images portrays the stage, where popular Kpop groups STAYC and KARD delivered performances. Not only did they captivate the hearts of their loyal fans, but they also interacted with the audience, with the assistance of South Korean Announcer Yeomyeong Park, who translated their words into German.

In the second photo, the large number of attendees becomes apparent as the venue brims with enthusiastic fans. They erupted into screams of excitement and showered the members of STAYC and KARD with huge applause. This vividly demonstrated the significant influence that Korean culture currently holds in Europe.

KOREA BRAND AND ENTERTAINMENT EXPO 2023에서는 매우 멋진 분위기가 흘렀습니다. 한국 문화 애호가들은 K팝 음악, 한국 요리 및 매혹적인 전통의 세계에 몰두하고 싶어했습니다.

이번 행사에서 저는 몇 장의 사진을 찍을 기회가 있었습니다.

두 번째 사진에서는 많은 관객들이 열광하는 모습이 나타납니다. STAYC와 KARD 멤버들은 엄청난 박수와 함성으로 맞이했는데, 이는 한국 문화가 유럽에서 현재 어떤 영향력을 가지고 있는지를 선명하게 보여줍니다.
