Building Network for Youth through Technology

My experience in the design and implementation of new projects and initiatives and in producing digital content—reaching up to 12.7K views at the Consulate—will be a strong asset.

As a Public Diplomacy Assistant at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Frankfurt, I gained hands-on experience in implementing participatory approach for youth-related events and conducting research to enhance the Consulate’s digital diplomacy. Maintaining good working relations within a multi-cultural environment required me to network with a variety of stakeholders, including youth organizations, universities, and local partners.

While organizing events such as the Korea Studies, Job, and Culture Fair and the 13th Korea Film Festival, I engaged directly with Youth participants—not only encouraging their involvement, but also communicating with them throughout the planning and implementation stages.

Recognizing the pivotal role of Social Media in public diplomacy, I conducted a research project titled The Current Status and Direction of Digital Public Diplomacy by ROK Overseas Missions, which was awarded 2nd Place in the Public Diplomacy Academic Paper Competition hosted by the Republic of Korea government.
