I learned how to interpret visual images, especially with my personal story. Interpretation incorporates traumas and scars in my life.

“Art is a process to deal with those psychological injuries, reflecting them with visualized signifiers.”

I analysed two artwork - JANG JongWan(장종완), Obvious Ending(뻔한 결말) and PARK MinJoon(박민준), Tower of eternity(영원의 탑). In this process, I found my new subconsciousness related with symbolic images.

Frosch Korea(2023), [프로쉬] 세제 인생 60년, 프로쉬 같은 세제는 처음이야! 프로쉬 알로에베라 세탁세제

Inspired by a statement “세제 인생 60년(The sixty years of detergent life)” in Korean version of Frosch detergent advertisement, I was curious how foreign advertisement promotes its detergent. I gathered examples of three brands - Frosch, Persil, and OxiClean - and I compared the visualization of advertisements produced in Korea and outside of Korea.

Welcome to exhibition detergent(세제展)
